Who Are We...

The UO Running Club is a collegiate running club that provides an opportunity for any student to race and train at any level. The club is coached by U.S. Track and Field Hall of Fame coach, Tom Heinonen.  In November 2007, the club placed 1st at the NIRCA National Championship in Bloomington, Indiana beating out Michigan by just 5 points.  In 2008, the club looked to defend their national title in State College, Pennsylvania (Penn State University) on the 5.2 mile course but still placed an impressive 2nd place.
